Hello!

We are happy to announce that we are an official charity partner for the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon!

This means we will have five wonderful people representing us, #TeamFreedomRunners, during the race in March! As a Freedom Runner, your support will help us fund our Academic Support Program, which provides scholarships to students in college.

This school year, we increased our full scholarship amount to $2,500! If our entire team reaches its goal, we can provide four additional full scholarships for women impacted by the criminal legal system!

About Us

The College and Community Fellowship (CCF) is dedicated to empowering women who have been impacted by the criminal justice system, particularly those who are seeking higher education and opportunities for personal and professional development. CCF focuses on providing support and resources to help our members reach their educational, career, and financial goals.

By fostering a network of relationships among members, alumni, and community advocates, CCF uplifts voices, creates sustainable pathways to success, and inspires a broader understanding of the importance of second chances.

  • You will receive a fundraising toolkit that has information about our organization, programs, member profiles and impact stories, fundraising basics, what specific donation amounts can achieve, social media content and captions, email text for sharing with their circles, FAQs and other tips to help make their fundraising process easier.

  • Runners will receive CCF branded merch to wear during the marathon!

  • We will host virtual team meetings to allow team to meet each other, CCF staff, a few members and learn about our organization!

  • Goal & Deadline

    Each runner must raise a minimum of $2,000 by Friday, March 6th, 2026.

  • Ready to Race!

    Runners will be ready and able to run in time for the big day, Sunday, March 15th, 2026.

  • Race Registration Fee

    Runners are responsible for their registration fees: $135 for NYRR Members and $160 for non-members.
